PC games over torrent
Water is a game launcher with a BitTorrent client built in. Pick a game from its list and press Install: Water downloads it over torrent from the people sharing it, runs the installer on a desktop of its own and sets the game up. Then you press Play.

From torrent to playing, without the chores
Getting a game from a torrent by hand is an evening of chores:
- Find a torrent you can trust among the fakes.
- Download it, then unpack it, sometimes twice.
- Click through an installer, often in another language.
- Install the runtimes it asks for, and track down the DLL it says is missing.
Water does every one of them. You press Install, then Play.

What Water does with a torrent
Once you press Install:
- It downloads the game from the people sharing it and checks every piece against the torrent.
- It runs the installer on a desktop of its own and clicks through it: you never see an installer window.
- It picks English where the game has it, and installs the runtimes the game comes with.
- It adds a desktop shortcut and a Start menu entry, and Play starts the game.
- Console games too: it sets up the emulator and your controller for 16 consoles.

What to know
- Water hosts no games and sells none: every game comes from the people sharing it on the BitTorrent network (PS Vita games from Sony’s servers), and what you download is your responsibility.
- While a game downloads, the people sharing it see your IP address, as with any BitTorrent client, and Water shares the parts you already have with them.
- New to torrents? What is a torrent? explains how they work.

Your first install is free
Water installs any one game free, PC or console, and it stays installed. A license for Water, for one PC, installs the rest.
