Terms
The rules for using Water and its license, in plain words.

What Water is
Water is a game launcher and BitTorrent client for Windows. Water hosts no games and sells none: every game comes from the BitTorrent network, from the people sharing it.
You choose what Water downloads and installs, and you are responsible for having the right to it where you live. Water’s team doesn’t own, check or vouch for the games.
The license
A license is for Water, never for a game. It works on one PC:
- It is bound to the first PC it is activated on, and its time starts then.
- To move it to another PC, ask Water’s team on Discord.
- A new key typed into a PC that has a license adds its time to that license.
- A key that is shared or resold can be cancelled.
Without a license, Water installs one game, PC or console, and that game stays installed.
Buying a license
Licenses are sold in Water’s shop, which shows the price before you pay and emails your key. Questions about an order go to Water’s team on Discord.
No guarantee
Water is provided as it is. Its team works to make every game install and run, but some won’t, on some PCs, and a game, an emulator or a source can stop working. Press Report on a game’s page and the team looks into it.
As far as the law allows, Water’s team isn’t liable for lost data, a game that doesn’t work, or anything a download brings with it.
Changes
These terms can change, and the date at the top says when they last did. Using Water after a change means you accept it. How Water handles your data is on the privacy page.
